— SCAFFOLDING BUSINESS SOFTWARE —

The whole firm, one system.

Enquiries, quotes, gang scheduling, job sheets to the lads, RAMS and inspections, payment claims, Xero invoicing and live profit per job. Built by a UK scaffolding firm that runs its own business on it every day.

01

One system from enquiry to final account

Most scaffolding firms run on a stack: a spreadsheet for quotes, a whiteboard for the schedule, paper for the RAMS, another spreadsheet for hire, and an accounts package that never quite agrees with any of them. Every hand-off between those tools is somewhere for money and paperwork to go missing.

The Scaffold Software replaces the stack. The enquiry becomes the quote, the won quote becomes the project, the project drives the schedule, the job sheets, the compliance file, the payment claims and the invoices, and the same numbers run through all of it.

02

The whole company on one screen

The Company Overview is the director's screen: live projects and their contract value, the enquiry pipeline, orders secured, billed this month, outstanding and overdue invoices, extra-hire items and tasks due, with the billing trend underneath.

Off-hired projects with money still uninvoiced are flagged the moment it happens, which is exactly the kind of leak a busy firm never spots from a spreadsheet.

Won work runs itself: schedule, job sheets, site app

The weekly schedule puts every gang against every job with a capacity row showing utilised against available before you over-book, and erect, adapt, strike, inspection and variation work colour-coded across the week.

The jobs land on the lads' phones: job details, RAMS to sign before tools come out, inspections, handovers and end-of-day progress, so the office sees tomorrow's starting position before the kettle is on.

04

Paperwork that files itself

RAMS, handover certificates, statutory weekly inspections and variation orders all live on the project's compliance tab: created in the office, signed on site, stored as signed PDFs with the full send history. Weekly inspections schedule themselves from handover.

When a principal contractor or the HSE asks for the file, it is an email attachment, not a week of digging through the van.

05

The money side: claims, invoices, Xero, margin

Stage payment claims roll up live as you enter the percentages, with QS valuation sheets generated for the client and confirmed day-works variations pulled in automatically. Invoices push to Xero as drafts in one click, nothing re-typed, and invoice tracking shows who has been billed this month and who has not.

Profit per job is live while the job is on, with erection and dismantle margins split and flagged, and hire tracking turns forgotten off-hires into billed extra-hire weeks.

Built inside a UK scaffolding firm

This is not a generic construction CRM bent to fit. It was built inside an active UK scaffolding company that could not find software that understood the trade, and it still runs that firm's jobs live, every day. Every feature exists because a real job needed it.

Your rates, margins and client book are locked to your company in the database itself, hosted in the EU, with role-based access so the lads see the day's jobs and the office keeps the numbers.

— WHAT SCAFFOLDERS ARE SAYING —

In the short time we've been using The Scaffold Software, the transition from juggling three to five different programs to one all-in-one platform has truly transformed how we do business. We've already been able to promote a supervisor from the tools to the office, a testament to just how simple the software is to use. The depth and simplicity of this platform is genuinely transformative for any scaffold business, no matter the size.

Running the business, answered

What does scaffolding business software need to cover?

The whole trade, not one corner of it: enquiries and quoting, gang scheduling, job sheets and a mobile app for the lads, RAMS, statutory weekly inspections and handover certificates, stage payment claims and variation orders, hire and extra-hire tracking, invoicing into Xero, wages off the schedule and live profit per job. The Scaffold Software covers all of it in one system, so the same numbers run from first enquiry to final account.

Is it built for UK scaffolding firms specifically?

Yes. It was built inside an active UK scaffolding company that still runs its own jobs on it every day. That is why the workflow matches the trade: meterage and elevations on quotes, gangs on the schedule, TG20:21-aware inspections and handovers, QS valuation sheets on payment claims, and extra hire chased in pounds per week.

We run the business on spreadsheets and WhatsApp. How hard is the switch?

Easier than it sounds. Start a free trial and you are in within two minutes, no card needed. Self-serve CSV importers move your customer book and live job list across in minutes, and on Pro our team does the migration for you as part of onboarding: data, branded quote and invoice templates, and live training for your staff.

Can the lads on site use it?

Yes, on every plan. The mobile app puts the day's jobs on each scaffolder's phone: RAMS to read and sign before tools come out, inspections to complete with photos, handovers signed on screen, hours and end-of-day progress flowing straight back to the office.

Will it tell me if a job is making money?

Live, while the job is still on. Profitability is tracked per job with erection and dismantle margins split out and flagged the moment a stage is losing money, and monthly figures roll up revenue, labour, costs and gross profit across the business, so you are not finding out at year-end.
